Is anyone searching for Kompare, Bajuk or Rozman. My gandmother, Louise (Alojsije) Kompare, was born in Metlika in 1887. Her parents,Franc Kompare and Katherine Rozman, were married in Metlika. Louise came to the USA in the early 1900's with her uncle and later married John (Joze)Bajuk. John was also from the Metlika area. John was born Oct. 1885. His father's name was Frank and mother's name possibly Catherine. Any information would be appreciated.

I'm looking for information on my family members with surnames JURSINIC, STEGNE, SUTEJ/SHUTTEY/SCHUTTE/SCHUTTY/SHUTTY, GASPERICH DOMITROVICH, and PALAKOVICH. I know some were born in Secje Selo and lived in Vinica. My great grandfather, Ivan Sutej, changed his name to John Schutty when he immigrated to the United States and finally settled in the Butte and Anaconda, Montana areas. He married Maria Gasperich. His baptism certificate lists Ivana Sutej and Barbara Jursinic as his parents, although Katherine Stegne is listed as his mother on his death certificate. Any information clearing up this mystery would be helpful. Thanks so much.
