Congratulations!

Congratulations! On your beautifully done web site on Crnomelj and the surrounding areas of interest. My relatives still today reside in Vinica. We visited them a few years ago and had such a happy time. We stayed at the hotel Lahina for a few days, but did not get the opportunity to see any of Crnomelj. My great aunt Barbara Mihelic was the grandmother of the poet Oton Zupancic. I met his son Andrej on our visit to Slovenia, and we correspond by e-mail to this day. My mother was born in Drenovec of the family, Sumic. If anyone there has information on this family, I would very much like to hear from them. Again, thank you for the fine web-site. Lep pozdrav, Edward Mihelic 4 Beach Ct. Berlin, MD 21811

Ostronic or Kambic

Hi, I would like to write, in English, to any families with the last name of Kambic or Ostronic. My great grandparents came from Vinica and Semic. They traveled to Butte Montana in the USA. I hope some family relatives will write! Jozef Kambic was born in SEmic in 1841, his wife Marija Petric was also from Semic, born 1841. Michael or Mihael Ostronic was born in 1835 in Vinica and his wife Barbara Streljar was born in 1839 in Vinica. Mihael's father was Marko Ostronic, born 1802, his father was Marko, also, born 1773. His wife was Margareta Vertin, born 1772. Ana Mravinec was born in 1802. She married the Marko born in 1802. Please write to me, thanks, Anita Endrezze
